There have been very few times in the history of this blog where I’ve struggled to describe a park.
This is one of them.
Parco Cavour is indeed a water park, but calling it that would be an understatement—and now I’ll explain why.
First of all, it’s surrounded by vineyards and orchards. As you’re getting closer, at some point you might ask yourself, “Did we take the wrong road? Are we sure this is the place?”
Then, the size of it will leave you speechless: 150,000 square meters (about 25 football fields) where you’ll find 600 palm trees, 100,000 roses, and a lawn that would make Queen Elizabeth jealous 😅
Now you’ll understand why Parco Cavour is NOT your typical water park, but a true experience for the eyes and the soul.
The park is divided into nine main areas:
- Palm Beach
- Paradise Island
- Adventure Rock
- Rain Forest
- Kneipp Path
- Iceberg
- Water Lagoon
- Kamikaze
- Robinson’s Beach
Palm Beach is the crown jewel of Parco Cavour—a beach of ultra-fine sand that continues right into the central pool, where you can relax under the shade of a palm tree or splash around with your friends.
Paradise Island is the park’s second beach, also featuring fine sand and palm trees as the main theme.
Adventure Rock is the brand-new playland opened last year, where little ones can find just the right kind of fun for them.
Rain Forest is perhaps my favorite area—this is where the slides start, perfect for both kids and adults to enjoy together.
Kneipp Path is for true wellness lovers—but be warned, before you feel the benefits, your feet might hurt a bit 😅
Iceberg is heavily themed—it really feels like you’re sliding on ice with how fast those slides go!
Water Lagoon, in my opinion, is another gem at Parco Cavour. The fact that it’s located on a sloped area makes it unique, but the amount of water splashing from every pipe will keep you smiling the whole time. Just watch out for the big bucket—it’s intense!
Kamikaze is only for the truly brave! I’ve never tried this slide at Cavour myself, but just know it’s one of the first of its kind in Italy—a relic of its genre that still delivers thrills and shakes.
Robinson’s Beach is incredibly immersive—right from the entrance, you’ll see that every detail is designed to make you feel like a real castaway.
In conclusion
If you love mixing moments of pure relaxation with a splash of fun, Parco Cavour is the destination for you!
You’ll find all the info about the park on the official website.
