Professor Wonder tried to shut it down, but the swirling vortex got out of control and was too powerful to contain!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The tornado\u2019s power tore the lab from its foundation! For an additional $10 per person, you get a private guided tour, up-close gator encounters, feeding time, and a few selfies&#8230; before they take a limb \ud83d\ude05<\/p>\n<h3>Useful Info<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Where: 20 km south of Universal Studios<\/li>\n<li>Cost: base ticket $20, $30 for adults<\/li>\n<li>Best for: thrill-seekers and fans of dangerous animals \ud83d\ude05<\/li>\n<li>More info: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gatorland.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gatorland official website<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>#3 Fun Spot<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2602 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parksandfun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Mine-Blower-Coaster.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1050\" height=\"700\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.parksandfun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Mine-Blower-Coaster.jpg 1050w, https:\/\/www.parksandfun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Mine-Blower-Coaster-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.parksandfun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Mine-Blower-Coaster-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.parksandfun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Mine-Blower-Coaster-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1050px) 100vw, 1050px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You could call them <strong>\u201camusement parks\u201d<\/strong>, but the two Fun Spot locations in Orlando\u2014one near Universal Studios, the other in Kissimmee\u2014definitely hold their own.<\/p>\n<p>Sure, compared to major theme parks they might seem a bit modest, but the one in Kissimmee is located in <strong>Old Town<\/strong>, a pedestrian area filled with restaurants and entertainment\u2014a great place to unwind.<\/p>\n<p>There are some solid amusement park-style rides:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spin coaster<\/li>\n<li>Ferris wheel<\/li>\n<li>Bumper cars<\/li>\n<li>A super long go-kart track<\/li>\n<li>Family coasters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>But the real gem at Fun Spot Kissimmee is the <strong>Mine Blower Coaster!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s Florida\u2019s only wooden coaster with an <strong>inversion<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>That alone makes it worth the visit\u2014trust me \ud83d\ude1c<\/p>\n<h3>Useful Info<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Where: Kissimmee, just 10 minutes from WDW<\/li>\n<li>Cost: from $45 and up<\/li>\n<li>Best for: adrenaline junkies<\/li>\n<li>More info: <a href=\"https:\/\/fun-spot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fun Spot official website<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>#2 The Wheel at ICON Park<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2603 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parksandfun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/The-Wheel-Nighttime-2-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><\/p>\n<p>ICON Park is a huge entertainment hub with rides, shops, and restaurants:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Madame Tussauds Orlando<\/li>\n<li>SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium<\/li>\n<li>Arcade City<\/li>\n<li>7D Dark Ride Adventure<\/li>\n<li>Pearl Express Train<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>But those are the \u201csmaller\u201d attractions.<\/p>\n<p>The crown jewel\u2014though not my personal favorite\u2014is <strong>The Wheel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a 120-meter (393 ft) tall observation wheel, lit with 64,000 LED lights.
