Is it worth it??"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"11709\" class=\"elementor elementor-11709 elementor-1052\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1699d8b0 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"1699d8b0\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-94d11a0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"94d11a0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The <strong>Mickey\u2019s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party<\/strong> takes place from mid-August to the end of October and is held 2 to 4 times a week depending on the period.<\/p>\n<p>On these days, the park closes at 6:00 PM, and starting from 7:00 PM only guests with the special event wristband are allowed to stay inside.<\/p>\n<p>This means the classic and beloved evening show Happily Ever After will NOT be performed.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why many people choose to visit other Disney parks on these days, making Magic Kingdom much less crowded.<\/p>\n<p>Since these are special evenings, here are some key details to help you make the most of it:<\/p>\n<h2>Why attend?<\/h2>\n<p> Typically, Halloween is filled with spooky horror themes \u2014 but NOT at <strong>Mickey\u2019s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party<\/strong>, where everything is fun, light-hearted, and flooded with tons of candy.<br \/>\nIn short, joy is the main theme here.<\/p>\n<h2>What kind of ticket do you need?<\/h2>\n<p> The first thing you should know is that to attend this event you MUST purchase a separate ticket, available exclusively on the official park website at this <a href=\"https:\/\/disneyworld.disney.go.com\/tickets\/events\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LINK<\/a>.<br \/>\nThis ticket allows you to enter the park starting at <strong>4:00 PM<\/strong>, and I highly recommend taking advantage of those three extra hours before the party begins.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the perfect time to browse shops, grab something to eat, or meet your favorite characters.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-04ec4c9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-video\" data-id=\"04ec4c9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;youtube_url&quot;:&quot;https:\\\/\\\/youtu.be\\\/_i4P-CQDnGo&quot;,&quot;video_type&quot;:&quot;youtube&quot;,&quot;controls&quot;:&quot;yes&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"video.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-wrapper elementor-open-inline\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-video\"><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5cd4c574 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5cd4c574\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>How to plan your evening?<\/h2>\n<p> Be sure to head as early as possible to the <strong>Buzz Lightyear<\/strong> attraction in Tomorrowland to get your event wristband \u2014 this will allow you to stay in the park after 6:00 PM, when Cast Members begin escorting out daytime guests.<br \/>\nFor this night, forget my usual tips you\u2019ll find <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parksandfun.com\/en\/theme-parks-12-rules-to-avoid-mistakes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HERE<\/a> and follow these instead:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As soon as you enter, grab the event guide \u2014 it lists all the trick-or-treat locations where you can load up on candy<\/li>\n<li>Check which attractions are decked out for the event \u2014 this year it was Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, Monsters Inc. and Haunted Mansion. I did them all and had no regrets!<\/li>\n<li>There are lots of <strong>exclusive photo spots<\/strong> scattered around the park \u2014 not all of them are on the map, so it\u2019s up to you to find them for the wildest pics<\/li>\n<li>If you want to meet the Halloween characters, line up <strong>as early as possible<\/strong> \u2014 queues build up fast after 7:00 PM<\/li>\n<li>If you prefer rides, I recommend Seven Dwarfs Mine Train \u2014 usually very crowded, but not on these nights<\/li>\n<li>There are two castle shows: *Hocus Pocus* and *Disney\u2019s Not So Spooky Spectacular*. The first runs twice during the night, so plan when to catch it<\/li>\n<li>The *Boo to You* parade is <strong>unmissable<\/strong> \u2014 I recommend watching it either from the central plaza or on Main Street<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Is it worth it?<\/h2>\n<p> Yes!<br \/>\nI can honestly say it\u2019s the only Halloween night where I truly had fun!<\/p>\n<p>One last thing:<\/p>\n<p>I just wore a T-shirt made for the occasion, but <strong>any kind<\/strong> of outfit \u2014 even ones we\u2019d associate more with Carnival than Halloween \u2014 is welcome, as long as you DON\u2019T wear a mask that covers your face, as it\u2019s not allowed in the park.<\/p>\n<p>Other than that, let your imagination run wild.<\/p>\n<p>What would you dress up as to attend Mickey\u2019s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party?<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Mickey\u2019s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place from mid-August to the end of October and is held 2 to 4 times a week depending on the period.
